ORLANDO, FL – Night Golf and Footgolf just got a lot more interactive! Glow Gear Interactive and Premier Glow, two major innovators in the night golf sector, are teaming up to bring golf facilities two new interactive targets and the first glow tee box that will elevate night sports activities and give golf facilities an exciting new weekly evening event offering.
The two new glow targets will be powered by a power puck that contains 14 watts of interactive light making the targets flash when hit with a golf ball, soccer ball or disc. The targets will include a 21″ round by six-foot high target pylon designed for Footgolf and night target golf. In addition, they offer an ‘instant up’ 12-foot target designed for target golf, small range parties, and hole-in-ones. The 12-foot target turns up on it’s side and becomes a glowing bullseye.
Now facilities can stage a variety of ‘pop up’ night golf events from target night golf to Friday night Footgolf to Hole-in-One activations and parties. The illuminated Footgolf pylon adds another dimension to the popular alternative hybrid sport. Simply place the interactive light puck into the target then stake it to the ground or insert into a foot golf hole.
“I love Footgolf, but soccer balls and golf balls simply don’t mix in daylight,” said Rob Peterson, Founder of Glow Gear Interactive. “When you can stage revenue generating Footgolf on Friday nights and Glow Gear target golf on Saturday nights – everyone is happy.”
Golf courses and ranges can generate additional revenue by organizing Footgolf leagues after work. Venues can make between $1000 and $2000 per evening with a nine-hole system through event fees and food and beverage.
Glow Gear Interactive and Premier Glow will also be introducing the first glowing tee box on the market. These tee boxes are so bright players can take photos and Instagram each other with their smart phones. Even the smallest night golf event can create big time entertainment and social media buzz in today’s digital world.
