(LONDONDERRY, NH) – ECCO – a leading global manufacturer of innovative footwear – will showcase its innovative BIOM® HYBRID 3 range at Booth #1963 during the PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando, Florida January 23 – 26.
Available January 15, ECCO BIOM HYBRID 3 combines the new ECCO TRI-FI-GRIP™ outsole featuring a multi-purpose zonal performance structure with ECCO BIOM® NATURAL MOTION® technology that brings golfers closer to the ground while offering an anatomical last, superb cushioning and advanced support. A supple Yak leather upper enhanced with a waterproof GORE-TEX® membrane offers exceptional flexibility, comfort and protection from the elements.
“ECCO BIOM HYBRID 2 was one of the best-selling hybrid shoes and we challenged ourselves to make this model even better,” says Michael Waack, Head of Global Golf at ECCO. “By combining our new TRI-FI-GRIP innovation with the same technological features created by the BIOM concept, I believe we have achieved our goal.”
To be showcased in the ECCO booth alongside highlights from the Spring/Summer 2018 collection, BIOM HYBRID 3 is designed with ECCO Freedom Fit technology, mixing a snug heel setting with a roomier forefoot area that allows toes to move naturally. The range also offers the option of a BOA® closure system for optimum fit and comfort.
As is the case with all of the golf shoes in ECCO GOLF’s Spring/Summer 2018 Collection, ECCO BIOM HYBRID 3 is crafted at company-owned factories that utilize FLUIDFORM™ technology to bond the upper and outsole unit, creating a one-piece shoe without the use of glue or stitching. Benefits include flexibility, durability and a lightweight construction.
ECCO GOLF shoes are worn in competition around the world by Fred Couples, Ernie Els, Smylie Kaufman, Peter Hanson, Thomas Bjørn, Lydia Ko, Minjee Lee, Caroline Masson and Gerina Piller, among others.
