World Golf Hall of Famer Annika Sorenstam joins panel of industry leaders at WGD Conference
West Palm Beach, FL- Women’s Golf Day (WGD) and its team of ambassadors is pleased to announce it will be hosting its second annual media conference in conjunction with the 2018 PGA Merchandise Show at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL.
Set for Thurs. January 25 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:25 a.m. (Room 312 A/B), a panel of industry experts including World Golf Hall of Famer Annika Sorenstam, will provide insight about the future of women’s golf and will share best practices relating to the successful WGD initiative.
The media conference will be moderated by WGD Founder Elisa Gaudet, a NGCOA Champion Award recipient, recognized for her tireless work in establishing a growth of the game program that benefits not only new golfers but also golf facilities.
“We were extremely pleased with the results of Women’s Golf Day 2017, 711 venues in 46 countries participated giving women all over the world an opportunity to experience golf and come together as a global community. We anticipate even more growth in WGD 2018,” said Elisa Gaudet. “Our media conference will be an opportunity for show attendees to learn more about how they can get involved with one of the most viable player development initiatives in the history of golf.”
The WGD media conference is free and is open to all show attendees including PGA and LPGA golf professionals, golf course owners and vendors plus members of allied golf associations.
