By redesigning the traditional mat, Par 2 has boosted an old staple of golf and created a portable putting mat which includes more functionality so golfers can practice, compete and win.
Developed out of a desire to make putting practice fun, Founder Carl Taft looked for a way to create a unique and challenging putting mat which he could use alone or with friends. “We made putting practice fun so you can ‘practice while you play,” said Taft. “This is definitely not your typical boring putting mat!”
The Par 2 can be played just like a regular round of golf assuming that you’ve had a perfect tee shot and approach to the green leaving every hole as a par 2. Taft also redesigned the hole width by reducing the overall size from a standard golf hole for more focused target practice.
