This past weekend Jerry Kelly used a Cure CX1 putter to capture another win in the 2018 season’s opening event on the PGA tour Champions at the Mitsubiushi Electric Championship at Hualalai, Kailua-Kona, HI.
This is Kelly’s third win in his last 9 events on the PGA Tour Champions. Since putting his CX1 Putter in the bag Kelly has won the Boeing Classic, the Pacific Links Bear Mountain Championship and now the Mitsubishi Electric Championship at Hualalai. With his CX1, Kelly posted a PGA Tour Champions record 14 consectutive rounds in the 60’s and had 7 top 10 finishes in 9 events. Kelly finished the year with the fifth-best scoring average (69.34), thanks in part to his record-setting streak of 16 straight rounds in the 60s, and he was seventh in the final Charles Schwab Cup standings.
