Naples, Fla. (January 25, 2018) – Tiburón Golf Club at The Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort, Naples recently unveiled new offerings to encourage families and juniors to play together and more often at the award-winning club. From new Family Tees and Family Golf Carts to junior apparel and golf clubs, Tiburón has made the game more junior and family-friendly.
As part of the recent remastering of Tiburón’s Black Course, Family Tees were added giving members and guests with children another option to play the course at approximately 4,000 yards. With the addition of the Family Tees, golfers now have six tee options to choose from when playing the Black Course – from 4,000 yards from the Family Tees to 6,949 yards from the Championship Tees.
In addition to Family Tees, Tiburón also recently debuted two new Family Golf Carts that seat up to four players, hold four sets of golf clubs, have multiple USB ports to charge electronic devices and are equipped with GPS units.
Tiburón is managed by Troon and participates in the management company’s industry-leading Troon Family Golf program. Through Troon Family Golf, juniors (age 15 years and younger) can play for free after 3 pm with a paying adult, receive complimentary Callaway Golf rental clubs (available in two sizes at Tiburón) and receive complimentary golf instruction when taking a lesson with a paying adult.
