Trick-shot artist Peter Longo and Illinois Teacher of the Year will entertain and educate on Daily Herald main stage; Incredible bargains on clubs, balls, clothing, shoes and all things golf
CHICAGO, Illinois (February 5, 2018) – The 35th annual Chicago Golf Show will offer all attendees a free round of golf as well as great deals, outstanding entertainment, free lessons, and the opportunity to hit the latest clubs from top manufacturers, Feb. 23-25, at the Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont.
The free rounds of golf are courtesy of GolfVisions Management, Inc., which operates 17 courses in the greater Chicago area.
Well-known trick shot artist Peter Longo – a/k/a “The King of Clubs” – will make his third appearance at the Chicago Golf Show, performing one show each on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. A Chicago area native, Longo has performed in more than 3,000 exhibitions over the years and is featured regularly on WGN-TV’s Instant Replay program.
Illinois PGA Teacher of the Year Louis Sauer will take to the Main Stage both Saturday and Sunday to give his insights on how to improve your golf game.
Three former Chicago Bear stars – tight end Emery Moorehead (Friday), tight end Dez Clark (Saturday) and linebacker Jim Morrissey (Sunday) – will try to sharpen their golf games by taking lessons from top Illinois PGA instructors.

Tickets may be purchased at the door or in advance online at www.chicagogolfshow.com. Those who purchase online receive a $1 discount. The Chicago Golf Show is the only golf show supported by the Illinois PGA.

Dozens of Illinois PGA professionals will be on hand to offer attendees free lessons on the full swing, short game, and putting. Esteemed golf instructors will conduct scheduled seminars on the Daily Herald Golf Academy Stage to help attendees get their games in shape for the coming season. The Illinois Junior Golf Association will conduct its annual scavenger hunt for young golfers again this year.
Not to be missed is the always-popular Long Putt Challenge sponsored by Tito’s Vodka, a cornerstone of the Show. Any contestant who makes the 85-foot putt OR who putts the ball within a two-foot radius of the hole will receive a special prize.
