Revolutionary new robotic teaching device is a gamechanger for golfers at all ability levels
LOS CABOS, Mexico (February 13, 2018) – RoboGolfPro®, a revolutionary new robotic swing trainer, has taken up exclusive residence on the range at Palmilla Golf Club’s practice facility. Billed as “the first and only swing training system that allows golfers to feel their ideal swing,” the newly developed machine, the first and only in Los Cabos, has been endorsed by PGA Tour pros and “Top 100” teachers.
Under the guidance of Canadian teaching pro Jaron Higgens, students can learn how to feel, see and experience their most efficient and physically correct golf swing, one that’s perfect for their ability and physique. The end result? More solid ball-striking, increased distance and improved accuracy.
According to Higgens, “RoboGolfPro® rebuilds your swing and resists bad habits, mistakes and tendencies” while making corrections on the spot to allow players to “feel” the correct swing for them. “With a few minutes of practice, golfers can develop new swing habits, create new ‘muscle memory’ and transform their game,” he said. The unique teaching device governs the full swing as well as chipping and putting motions.
According to the company’s literature, RoboGolfPro® creates a unique learning experience that facilitates a conversation between student and teacher. “The RoboGolfPro® is the only machine in existence that takes your club and physically guides you through a perfect ergonomic swing, allowing the instructor to let you feel what really happens in a consistent, repeatable swing,” the company stated. In addition, the robotic swing trainer stores a player’s data from previous lessons and effectively guides a golfer through the process of learning his or her new and improved swing.
“We’re extremely excited to be the first Troon Golf facility to offer the RoboGolfPro® swing trainer,” said Jason Ballog, Palmilla’s director of golf. “There’s been a tremendous amount of interest and curiosity about the machine both from club members and resort guests.”
RoboGolfPro® was designed by CEO and founder Scot W.R. Nei, who is acknowledged by pros and amateurs alike as one of the most innovative instructors in the world. Among other affiliations, Nei is a guest instructor at the world-renowned Pebble Beach Golf Academy in California.
“It (RoboGolfPro®) is another way for the instructor to get inside your golf mind, to create cognitive development and motor learning patterns that have instant success,” Nei stated. “RoboGolfPro® is a way for you to feel the swing instantly and achieve your ‘Ah-ha’ golf moment faster than ever before. What could take hours in conversation, practice and video review can now be created in moments with RoboGolfPro®.” The machine, he added, significantly shortens golf’s learning curve and has the potential to grow the game quickly.
Carrying a list price of $150,000 USD, there are only 30 RoboGolfPro® trainers in the world (and only two in Mexico). Among the PGA Tour winners who own the machines are Bryson DeChambeau (2017 John Deere Classic, 2016 DAP Championship); Vaughn Taylor (2016 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am); and David Toms (multiple wins).
Palmilla, a pioneering facility that’s home to the first Jack Nicklaus Signature golf course in Latin America, now offers members, One&Only Palmilla guests and resort players in Los Cabos personalized instruction on a state-of-the-art swing trainer that is truly a “gamechanger.” http://robogolfpro.com/
