SURFSIDE BEACH, S.C., February 12, 2018, – East Coast Golf Management (ECGM) properties across the Myrtle Beach area have embarked upon several spring beautification projects. In addition to company-wide efforts to enhance guest sightlines, ECGM has begun bunker renovations, bulkhead and cart path repairs as well as arborist recommended tree work at four Myrtle Beach area courses.

Rivers Edge, in Shallotte, N.C., is performing an extensive bunker renovation project to include reshaping bunker edging, refreshing bunker sand, improving drainage and enhancing playability. In addition to the bunker projects, the course is restoring native grass areas along its tidal marshes and repairing its bulkheads. Extensive tree work is also underway, which will improve playability and turf conditions throughout the course.

Diamondback Golf Club at Woodland Valley, located northwest of Myrtle Beach in Loris, S.C., is renovating and refreshing bunker complexes as well as enhancing the aesthetics of some of the peripheral areas of the course.

Farmstead Golf Links and Meadowlands Golf Club, both in Calabash, N.C. are also performing extensive tree work as well as bunker projects, cart path renovations and native planting area development throughout the courses.

“Our properties are gearing up for the spring golf season. These improvement projects will continue to enhance the guest experience. Across the company, our teams continue to focus on providing exceptional guest service and a warm, welcoming atmosphere for all golfers.” says Mike Buccerone, President of ECGM.
