BELLINGHAM, Wash. – SteelFiber graphite iron shafts, the No. 1 graphite iron shafts in golf, scored victories on two pro tours this weekend. Designed and manufactured by Aerotech Golf, SteelFiber shafts delivered the wins at the Chubb Classic on the Champions Tour and the Women’s Australian Open on the LPGA Tour.

Playing SteelFiber i95 graphite shafts in his irons and two utility irons, the seven-time pro winner finished strong in his final round to claim a four-stroke victory at the Chubb Classic. Meanwhile at the Women’s Australian Open, a 22-year-old LPGA rookie from South Korea led the Women’s Australian Open event wire-to-wire playing SteelFiber J-Series graphite shafts in her irons. The young champion claimed her second career LPGA Tour title, but her first as an LPGA member. It’s only the second time for a player to win their first start after becoming an LPGA member. Overall at the Women’s Australian Open, SteelFiber shafts had five players in the Top Seven – SteelFiber i80 shafts with T3, T5 and T7 finishes, and SteelFiber J-Series shafts with a 1st and T7 finish.

“We congratulate both of these champions on their impressive victories,” says Chris Hilleary, president of Aerotech Golf. “Regardless of your age or your skill level, SteelFiber graphite shafts deliver performance benefits unlike any other shafts in the game today. SteelFiber shafts combines the power of graphite with the stability of steel to give golfers accuracy and increased distance, while at the same time reducing the risk of injury, lessening the aggravation of existing injuries and decreasing player fatigue. With SteelFiber shafts, golfers can play their best for longer, and always finish strong.”

SteelFiber shafts provide superior performance through innovative composite engineering that combines a high-modulus graphite core with 59 miles of steel fiber lacing the shaft surface. The shaft’s graphite core provides vibration dampening, increased clubhead speed and maximum distance, while the steel fibers produce optimum weighting for a solid feel at impact and add stability and control for pinpoint accuracy.

Aerotech Golf shafts are available as custom options with many nationally celebrated golf club manufacturers such as PXG, Callaway, Titleist, TaylorMade, Ping, Cobra, Bridgestone Golf, Wilson, Cleveland Golf, Miura, Srixon, KZG and Nakashima Golf. Aerotech Golf shafts are also available through professional golf clubfitters around the world. Aerotech Golf is a proud supporter of the Association of Golf Clubfitting Professionals (AGCP) and the International Clubmakers Guild (ICG).
