NAPLES, FLA. – (Feb. 21, 2018) OMEGA, Official Patron of the PGA of America and Official Timekeeper of the Olympic Games, hosted the third of 11 tournaments that make up the OMEGA Golf Trophy series Wednesday at Tiburon Golf Club at Ritz Carlton Resort in Naples, Fla. Top golf instructor Michael Breed led guests through a clinic prior to their tournament.
OMEGA began the second-annual OMEGA Golf Trophy series in Orlando, Fla. on Jan. 23. Over the course of the year, OMEGA will host 11 VIP events at prestigious golf courses in Orlando, Houston, Naples, Fla., Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Scottsdale, Ariz., Honolulu, Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas and Morristown, N.J.
OMEGA Ambassador Michelle Wie and friend of the brand Hank Haney are also expected to join guests at select tournaments to encourage the golfers and offer some tips of the game.
The top threesome from each qualifying local tournament will be guests of OMEGA at the 2018 PGA Championship at Bellerive Country Club in St. Louis this August.
At the conclusion of the inaugural OMEGA Golf Trophy Finals last August, OMEGA ambassador and 28-time Olympic Games Medalist Michael Phelps and Masters Champion and fellow OMEGA ambassador, Sergio Garcia, presented awards to the winning team. The winning threesome was presented with the Aqua Terra 150M Omega Master Co-Axial 41.5 mm Golf Edition, trophies and custom-made golf bags featuring Garcia and Phelps.

Breed, who is ranked by his industry peers among the 50 Best Teachers in America, recently left the Golf Channel after 385 episodes of his weekly instruction show, The Golf Fix, to become the lead host and instructor on Golf Digest’s new digital game-improvement platform.
The 2018 PGA Championship, held Aug. 9-12, marks the 100th edition of one of the most anticipated golf events on the calendar. The greatest golfers in the world will compete for the Wanamaker Trophy. OMEGA has enjoyed a relationship with the PGA of America for the last eight years.
