U.S. News & World Report selects nation’s most highly-regarded properties

Hilton Head Island, SC (March 1, 2018) – The Inn & Club at Harbour Town-rated Hilton Head Island’s No. 1 luxury hotel-has been named among the top 50 hotels in the country by U.S. News & World Report, debuting at No. 14 on the list released in February.
The Inn & Club-beautifully set within The Sea Pines Resort-is famous for its elegant décor, coupled with legendary service and a host of premium complimentary amenities. The Inn & Club’s guest rooms are fitted with modern furnishings and conveniences, accented by crisp Egyptian cotton linens and design elements that complement the natural beauty of the South Carolina Lowcountry. Resort guests also have easy access to a full slate of exemplary experiences from stunning beaches, award-winning golf courses (and instruction), and an equestrian center, to pools, tennis, shopping, and the world-famous Harbour Town Yacht Basin.
“We are delighted to be selected among the best properties in the country,” said John Munro, Vice President of Hospitality, Sales and Marketing, The Sea Pines Resort. “This recognition is a testament to the dedication of our staff and their commitment to providing a world-class guest experience.”
The U.S. News & World Report list is created by factoring together each property’s star rating, industry accolades and guest reviews, and editor input to determine which of the country’s highly regarded hotels stand out from the rest. Of 2,194 properties considered for the 2018 list, the top 50 were cited.
Situated on the southernmost tip of Hilton Head Island, the legendary Lowcountry destination features five miles of unspoiled beaches, 21 clay tennis courts, 14 miles of bike and walking trails, horseback riding, Eco-Adventures, water sports, and the 605-acre Sea Pines Forest Preserve rich in wildflowers, wetlands, and more than 130 species of birds. As the first Eco-planned destination in the U.S., The Sea Pines Resort has become the blueprint for numerous beach developments around the country.
The Sea Pines Resort is also home to one of the crown jewels in the world of golf, Pete Dye’s classic Harbour Town Golf Links (home of the PGA TOUR’s RBC Heritage), as well as two other highly-rated courses, Heron Point by Pete Dye and Atlantic Dunes by Davis Love III.
The resort’s best-in-class collection of golf courses, amenities, dining experiences, meeting facilities, and accommodations makes Sea Pines one of the most sought-after leisure and group destinations in America.
