PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. (March 15, 2018) – PGA Golf Club – the PGA of America’s premier 54-hole facility – announces its Taplow Pub has been named “Best Pub” on the Treasure Coast by Indian River Magazine.
Named after a business group at the former Wanamaker’s store in New York City that sparked the birth of the PGA of America, the Taplow Pub is located inside the clubhouse and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week. In recognizing the Taplow Pub, Indian River highlighted the array of menu items and fresh ingredients, and the highly trained wait staff.
“We are thrilled Indian River Magazine recognized the Taplow Pub as one of the best dining establishments on the Treasure Coast,” says Jimmy Terry, general manager at PGA Golf Club. “This honor is a testament to our amazing team and the work they do to make dining at the Taplow Pub memorable.”
The Best of the Treasure Coast award is the latest honor bestowed on PGA Golf Club in 2018. The Golf Range Association of America named the PGA Center for Golf Learning and Performance a “Top 50 Range” for the 17th consecutive year. Also, the Association of Golf Merchandisers recognized PGA Golf Club’s golf shop with its Platinum Award.
