And another victory on the LPGA Tour
CARLSBAD, Calif. (March 19, 2018) – Nippon Shaft recorded three Top 10 finishes, including the runner-up, Sunday at the Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill Club in Orlando.
Wearing his signature cap as an homage to Ben Hogan and Payne Stewart, the 24-year-old former U.S. Amateur champion used the N.S.PRO MODUS3 Tour 130 X-flex steel shafts in his irons and wedges to shoot a 15-under par total with rounds of 67-66-72-68-273. He earned $961,200 for his sole-second place finish.
Finishing sole fourth was the 2016 Open Champion who shot 13-under for the week with rounds of 64-69-71-71-275 using N.S.PRO MODUS3 Tour 120 TX-flex steel shafts in his irons and wedges. The Swede earned $427,200.
Tying for seventh was the API’s defending champion, from Australia, who finished at 8-under, firing rounds of 70-70-73-67-280 while utilizing the N.S.PRO MODUS3 Tour 130 X-flex steel shafts in his irons. He walked away with a check for $249,942.

Meanwhile on the women’s tour, the winner, two T-2s, and a T-5 player all played Nippon Shaft N.S.PRO 950 GH at the LPGA Founders Cup at Wildfire Golf Club in Phoenix. The 29-year-old champion from South Korea shot 19-under par with rounds of 68-71-63-67-269 to win by five strokes. It was the 19th LPGA victory for the Olympic Gold Medalist and seven-time major champion.
