The National Golf Foundation is pleased to announce that Pat Roberts has joined the organization as Director of Client Resources. In this role, Roberts will consult NGF members and clients on the strategic application of NGF’s research and marketing solutions to help them acquire new customers, compete more effectively and generate incremental revenue.
Roberts’s career in golf began as a teenager in the caddyshack and course maintenance teams at the famed Canterbury Golf Club in Cleveland, Ohio. Roberts has worked within the golf industry ever since, building strong relationships and a successful track record. Roberts joins the NGF following 16 years as Publisher and Vice President of Sales for Golfdom magazine, where he managed a portfolio of print, digital, research and event marketing products. He’s collaborated with and led marketing strategies for many of the most well-known brands in the golf course industry.
“Pat and I have known each other for many years,” said Greg Nathan, Chief Business Officer. “Pat knows first-hand about the benefits of being an NGF Executive Member and client… since he was an NGF partner during his tenure at Golfdom. Separately, we always thought it was a great personal point of connection that NGF and Golfdom were both founded by World Golf Hall of Fame member, Herb Graffis. Pat’s experience developing and executing effective marketing and revenue-generating database programs will be an amazing asset for NGF’s clients, particularly those businesses that sell products to golf facilities.”
Pat is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati. He is a native of Shaker Heights, Ohio where he lives with his wife and 4-year-old daughter. When he’s not working on his golf game, he’s honing his fly-fishing technique. Pat is also a lifelong (and mostly suffering) Cleveland Browns, Indians and Cavaliers fan.
