Philadelphia, Pa. (April 2, 2018) – Knuth Golf’s High Heat 257+ driver, fairway woods and hybrids dominate amateur golf club performance and snag Product of the Month for April on the award-winning GolfTalk Live radio show.
The High Heat name is synonymous with performance golf clubs that have helped amateur golfers hit the ball farther and straighter since being released more than three years ago. Known for being Golf, Inc. Magazine’s “Top Innovator Of Golf Clubs,” Dean Knuth has taken advantage of the 2016 USGA rule-change permitting a conforming golf club face to have a “trampoline” effect (CT) up to 275 CT in the large toe and the heel areas, but still no more than 257 CT in the center of the face, better known as the “sweet spot.”
With High Heat 257+ technology in all of the new clubs offered by Knuth Golf, the conforming Impact Area CT limit is complied with when golfers strike the ball in the sweet spot. Same as almost every major brand on the market. Most impressive, however, on off-center hits — when the ball is struck near the toe or heel of the club face — golfers are achieving more than 257 CT from the High Heat driver, fairway woods and hybrids. No other brand on the market averages anywhere close to that number when the ball is struck off center.
“I’ve created three largely independent trampolines on each High Heat club face,” explains Dean Knuth, Club Designer and Co-owner of Knuth Golf. “The middle of the face is the exact width of the USGA’s designated ‘Impact Area’ that allows up to 257 CT. I then significantly reduced the average thickness of the toe and heel areas adjacent to the Impact Area to create the largely independent trampolines to take advantage of the USGA’s 2016 CT rule. This allows amateurs for the first time to obtain the same distance in the toe and heel areas as they do in the center of the face.”
The High Heat 257+ three-trampoline technology, which was the “Best new technology” at the 2018 PGA Merchandise Show, also gained the Driver and Metal Woods “Best” Honors, after extensive testing on Demo Day by the golf media and industry professionals at the Show.
“After hitting the High Heat 257+ line of clubs back in January, I said ‘oh my G-d’ with utter amazement,” exclaims GolfTalk Live host, Tony Leodora. “With its three-trampoline technology, amateurs will get increased distance on toe and heel hits with the feel of a center hit and more confidence, which is why High Heat continues to be the leading brand in properly addressing the hitting needs of the amateur golfer.”
The High Heat 257+ driver carries a retail price of $499.99; the fairway woods each retail for $329.00; the hybrids each retail for $257.99. Purchases need to be made through the official website – www.HighHeatGolf.com – where an online fitting is conducted by answering a series of questions specific to each golfer’s preferences and abilities.
The High Heat driver, fairway woods and hybrids will be prominently featured on GolfTalkLive.net for the entire month of April. Dean Knuth will be featured in an interview on GolfTalk Live about the High Heat 257+ clubs that will air in all markets on Saturday, April 14, 2018.
