NORTHBROOK, Ill., April 10, 2018 – KemperSports announced today it has been selected by the Eastern Band of Cherokee to manage Sequoyah National Golf Club in Cherokee, N.C. Located just 60 miles west of Asheville, N.C., Sequoyah National opened to high acclaim when it opened in 2009, including being recognized by GOLF Magazine as No. 2 on their list of the Best New Courses You Can Play list.
One of only two Robert Trent Jones II Signature Designs in the state, Sequoyah National Golf Club offers picturesque views of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park as it intimately routes through the surrounding valley and the native landscape. The Club is a par-72, 6,600-yard course with well-maintained bent grass greens and bluegrass fairways.
Sequoyah National serves as one of the top amenities for the Harrah’s Cherokee Casino Resort that offers 1,100 resort hotel rooms, 3,000 seat concert and events venue, expansive casino with 150,000-sq.-ft. of live and traditional gaming, eleven restaurants, indoor and outdoor pool and Bali-inspired spa.
