Company’s Fifth Minneapolis-area Location Features Renowned Instruction and Club-fitting
(Edina, MN) – GOLFTEC – the world leader in golf lessons and one of the top employers of PGA Professionals – announces the opening of a state-of-the-art instruction and club-fitting center in Edina, MN, which is housed within the new Twin Cities Orthopedics building located at 4100 Minnesota Drive. A Grand Opening will be held May 3, RSVP here: https://www.facebook.com/events/226048911307900/.
The new location is staffed by highly-trained Certified Personal Coaches who have taught thousands of lessons to players of all skill levels. Each lesson is taught one-on-one and utilizes proprietary teaching technology and leading-edge instruction techniques that have led to a 96 percent success rate among students. Throughout May, GOLFTEC is celebrating the opening by offering up to 20% off select services, including Swing Evaluations, Game Plans, Lesson Packs and club-fitting packages.
GOLFTEC’s fifth Minneapolis-area location, the center showcases two hitting-bays, a vibrant new in-center design scheme and enhanced TECFIT® custom club-fitting program. The latter is a TOUR-like fitting experience that combines swing characteristics with ball flight data to help identify optimal golf equipment for each student. An extensive array of clubhead/shaft options are available.
“Minnesotans are some of the most diehard golfers on the planet and we’re excited to help local players live up to their full potential on the course,” said Jim McNaney, Regional Manager of GOLFTEC. “We couldn’t ask for a better location or partner than the Twin Cities Orthopedics organization and we look forward working with their staff and patients, along with the general public.”
GOLFTEC has steadily been opening new facilities in the Twin Cities metro ever since local Golfsmith stores closed in 2016, some of which housed independent GOLFTEC centers. The company bounced back from the temporary setback to emerge stronger than ever. Currently, the world’s leading lessons provider has locations in Coon Rapids (Bunker Hills Golf Club), Eden Prairie, Edina, Minnetonka and Roseville.
Area golfers are encouraged to come meet the staff at Edina and learn about the pioneering programs that have led to unrivaled category growth. The largest driver of new business comes from referrals, as students drop an average of seven strokes from their scorecard. More information on the team can be found here.
“It’s been a long, tough winter, but Spring has finally arrived in Minnesota and our coaches are looking forward to working with old and new students alike,” said Joe Assell, Co-Founder and CEO at GOLFTEC. “Our staff here consists of some of the best teachers in the country, and when you combine that talent with all the technology we’ve pioneered, you get the perfect golf improvement system.”
The renowned, global GOLFTEC coaching team is comprised of experienced professionals, most of whom are PGA Professionals and have taught thousands of lessons. Each goes through a rigorous multi-week certification at GOLFTEC University including continued advanced training to master the analysis of golf swing mechanics, the technology utilized by GOLFTEC and the most productive teaching techniques. Committed to strengthening the industry and hiring only the best staff, GOLFTEC is one of the largest employers of PGA Professionals in the world.
