Adds eight more courses to the free eGull pay app for iOS and Android
CARLSBAD, CA, April 28, 2018 – eGull, Inc., the “Uber of Golf” and number one solution to allow golf operators to invite golfers to Play and Pay by the Hole™, continues to add courses to the eGull Pay App, announcing 8 new courses spread through Wisconsin, Nebraska and Illinois.
The Milwaukee County Park District extends their golf offering adding eGull Pay to six of their courses. Now, golfers in the Milwaukee area can play on they own time, as many holes as they wish, when the courses are open for play, and just pay for what they played. Added to the eGull Pay app are:
• Greenfield Park Golf Course
• Grant Park Golf Course
• Currie Park Golf Course
• Whitnall Park Golf Course
• Oakwood Park Golf Course
• Dretzka Park Golf Course
“We decided to implement eGull Pay as it fits in the modern way of life at a point where time is a precious commodity. Many occasional golfers prioritize time differently and don’t like to commit to a full round of golf. Now they can have both. From an operator standpoint, we have lost countless 18 rounds in Q1 due to weather. It’s very difficult to recoup these full rounds with 18 hole full price rounds. eGull Pay gives us an opportunity to drive incremental revenue to fill gaps in our tee sheet and recoup lost rounds one hole at a time” indicated Chet Hendrickson, Golf Services Manager for the Milwaukee Park District.
Similarly, Justin Herron, General Manager at Pacific Springs Golf Club in Omaha, NE finds eGull Pay as a novel solution to answer a long lasting challenge: “For years we’ve been looking at ways to fill our tee-sheet during the day and off-hours. The one approach we never had a solution for is addressing the issue of time” shared Justin, “with eGull Pay we can let golfers play for as long as they wish and not have to worry about what to bill them. Finally a solution for billing players with less than 2 hours to play, whether that be twilight or during the day.”
Also added to the platform is The Links at Carillon in Plainfield, IL.
Operating eGull Pay is simple, the app is free to golfers and set up is free to golf courses. A golfer downloads the free app, makes a request to play a participating golf course and checks-in at the pro-shop. The Pro shop generates a 4 digit code through the eGull Pay software and share it with the player to activate the GPS tracking on their smartphone. Golfers play as many holes as they have time for and when they are done they end the round on the app and their credit card is automatically charged. eGull and the course share in the revenue.
