Software to be used at 13 facilities to support nearly 1,000,000 rounds annually
LOS ANGELES (May 23, 2018) – The City of Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks (RAP) today announced that it has awarded the technology contract for its 13 area golf facilities to EZLinks Golf, a PGA TOUR affiliated company. EZLinks will provide its industry-leading EZTEE PRO tee sheet, point-of-sale platform, marketing products including websites with web reservation booking engines and tee time phone reservation center services for the City of Los Angeles courses. The five-year agreement received the support of the full City Council.
“The City of Los Angeles welcomes more than 20,000 golfers annually and hosts nearly one million rounds a year,” said Laura Bauernfeind, Golf Manager of the City of Los Angeles, Department of Recreation and Parks. “EZLinks’ software is well known in the golf industry as a proven platform, and it was clear during the RFP process that its flexible system, strong reporting, and integrated features was best suited to serve the needs of our golfers.”
EZLinks’ technology will power operations at 13 area facilities, including Rancho Park Golf Club, Wilson Golf Course, and Hansen Dam Golf Course. Additionally, tee times for the City of Los Angeles courses will be available to book on TeeOff.com by PGA TOUR, making it easier for golfers to book rounds and the city to drive revenue.
