3M OPEN CHAMPION CLAIMS 4TH PGA TOUR TITLE TRUSTING SOFTSPIKES REPLACEABLE TRACTION

Brentwood, Tenn. – Softspikes® propelled the winner of the 3M Open to an emotional 4^th PGA Tour title on Sunday at TPC Twin Cities in Minnesota.

After opening rounds of 68 and 66, it was a third round 63 that put the Venezuelan right into contention going into Sunday. Wearing Pulsar spikes in his FootJoy HyperFlex 3.0 golf shoes, the 39-year-old produced a final round 70, including a 72^nd hole birdie to claim a one-shot victory. The win moves him up to 67^th in the season-long FedEx Cup standings.

The win at the 3M Open means, the now four-time PGA Tour winner, becomes the 28^th PGA Tour winner to do so wearing spikes in the last 32 PGA Tour events. In addition, 40 of the top 52 finishers at TPC Twin Cities chose to compete in replaceable spikes over spikeless shoes.
