Block, 18, advanced to the final U.S. Open qualifying last month in California and is the son of Michael Block, the PGA Professional who made headlines in May for, among other things, recording a hole-in-one during the final round of the PGA Championship at Oak Hill while playing with Rory McIlroy. He tied for 15th place to earn a return trip to the 2024 PGA. Lazare is a respected PGA Professional at Monarch Beach Golf Links in Dana Point, California, and serves as Michael Block’s official caddie.

Block’s golf goals are to compete at the professional level, and he aims to inspire and mentor young golfers by sharing his knowledge and experiences in the game to help them excel in the sport that he loves.
