After three years working with founder Parker McLachlin to create a thriving paid-subscription instructional program, successful sale leverages a scalable base of more than 3,000 members across a range of media platforms
SCOTTSDALE, AZ – 8AM Golf, the world’s leading holding company of premium golf-related brands, today announced the sale of the premier short game golf program, Short Game Chef, to Range Sports.
Short Game Chef was created in November of 2022 by PGA Tour winner Parker McLachlin. McLachlin is regarded as one of the game’s top short game coaches. The acclaimed instructional program he designed has steadily built a dedicated community of golfers committed to improving their game, particularly the part of the game within 100 yards of the hole that presents the best opportunity to save strokes.
As a result of the guidance and developmental strategy provided by 8AM Golf, the paid subscription service offers access to more than 300 exclusive instructional videos from McLachlin and has a base of over 3,000 members.

Short Game Chef will become a part of Range Sports’ golf division where it is expected to help grow the company’s direct-to-consumer business.
