About the BGA

The Black Golf Alliance was created in 2019 to give Black golfers a space that truly reflected who we are, our culture, our voices, and our shared love for the game. What started as a small idea has grown into a powerful community.

The Black Golf Alliance Forum on  Facebook has surpassed 12,000 members, with more than 95% of them being African American golfers representing all ages, genders, and locations across the United States and abroad.

The Alliance has raised thousands of dollars to support HBCU golf programs  as well as junior golfers. BGA has also created a platform that helps launch and support Black-owned golf brands. BGA  membership includes LPGA and PGA Professionals, professional golfers and athletes, coaches, politicians, industry leaders, and everyday golfers. The Alliance is a place where members can share knowledge, enjoy the game, and engage in meaningful conversations that keep the community active and connected.

Beyond the online space, the Alliance has brought members together through memorable experiences and trips.

The Black Golf Alliance has also become a space for mentorship, relationship-building, and business development within the Black-owned golf community and has helped launch brands such as Bucka Fogey Sports.

The Black Golf Alliance is more than a forum, it is a community built with purpose, pride, and a shared vision for what Black golf can be. To learn more visit them on Facebook HERE
