Hole-in-One Wins Round Two of aG Alpha Home Tour

aG Awards $1000 USD Prize to Winner of Second Round

SEATTLE – April 6, 2020 – A competitor stole the show during aboutGOLF’s second week of its Alpha Home Tour with a hole-in-one. For a limited time, the aG Alpha Home Tour allows golfers who use aG golf simulators to compete from the comfort of their homes to win a $1000 USD prize.

Last week, competitors played to land one of five shots closest to the pin on the 9th hole of The Preserve Golf Course. Week two tour winner “Colem” aced the shot. A second-place winner, “Nederlander”, was closest to the pin at 0.81 feet and took home a $500 USD prize from aG. For full competition standings, visit aG’s blog here: https://www.aboutgolf.com/blog

The tour continues this week on the 8th hole of Donald Ross Memorial golf course. As with rounds one and two, players will have five shots from the event tee, and the closest shot wins the $1000 USD prize. Round three starts today, April 6, and will run through Sunday, April 12.

During this period of social distancing, aG remains committed to providing challenge and entertainment to its customers. To participate in the aG Alpha Home Tour, players need access to any aG simulator with a connection to the Internet. Players must also download the aG locker app for Android or Apple by visiting https://www.aboutgolf.com/ag-locker. For customers who have not tried an aG simulator, the app also provides a list of nearby golf center simulators.

Customers are having a lot of fun with the aG Alpha Home Tour. First round winner Yiannis Sotiropoulos said, “We loved the idea of the tour and can’t wait for future events! Thanks for starting the tour and for donating to the charity.”
aG CEO Brett Campbell today congratulated the winners of the first two rounds and added, “The aG Alpha Home Tour continues to be a great way for friends and families to have fun and compete for a prize, while helping to manage the stuck-at-home blues.”
The aG Alpha Tour is just one way aG keeps families entertained. aG simulators also offer a host of family entertainment activities, including home cinema and a variety of games. aG continues its commitment to entertaining customers from the comfort of their homes throughout this crisis and beyond.

aG’s premise is that Modern Golf should be played anytime, anywhere, and by anyone. Our software analyzes data to improve your game. Our golf and entertainment experience bring you the unimaginable.
