Association of Golf Merchandisers Announces 2026 College Scholarship Recipients

September 2, 2026

Six students recognized for academic achievement and their commitment to careers in the golf industry

ROCKLIN, CA — The Association of Golf Merchandisers (AGM) has named six recipients of its 2026 College Scholarship Program, continuing more than two decades of support for students pursuing careers in the golf industry. Each recipient receives a $1,000 award.

This year’s recipients are:

  • Justin Lee Brewington – University of Maryland Eastern Shore
  • Dylan Jopp – Penn State University
  • Julia Styres – Mississippi State University

Three additional recipients received named scholarships:

  • Isabella Barry – University of Nebraska–Lincoln — Megan Ryan Memorial Scholarship Recipient
  • Abbey Kittles – Florida Gulf Coast University — Ann Marquardt Memorial Scholarship Recipient
  • Timothy James Manzello – Penn State University — Kimberly J. Clapp Memorial Scholarship Recipient

The named scholarships honor three people connected to AGM. Ann Marquardt was one of AGM’s first 50 members and a former president of the association. Megan Ryan was the daughter of AGM member Darcy Lyberger; she was 18, and is remembered for her kindness and her care for the people around her. Kimberly J. Clapp was an advocate for students with disabilities who believed in the value of education regardless of ability; her husband, Lee, built his career in the golf industry.

“These students are the next generation of this industry,” said Jennifer Morton, CEO of the Association of Golf Merchandisers. “We’re proud to recognize their work and to play a small part in helping them build careers in golf.”

The AGM College Scholarship Program is open to students who have completed at least one year of college, maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher, and are actively pursuing a career in the golf industry. Scholarships are awarded based on academic performance, industry involvement and a demonstrated passion for the business of golf.

Applications for the 2027 AGM College Scholarship Program open February 1, 2027.
