FORT WORTH, Texas (May 21, 2018) – More than 200,000 people are expected to pour into the merchandise tent at the Fort Worth Invitational, this week’s stop on the PGA TOUR at historic Colonial Country Club. For the ninth consecutive year, AHEAD is partnering with tournament organizers to stage the merchandise tent, a 5,000-square-foot facility that will feature logoed headwear, apparel, and accessories. AHEAD products will be predominantly featured at the event.
In addition to organizing all the fixtures for the tent and providing merchandise for retail sale, AHEAD is supplying the headwear for the Fort Worth Invitational’s more than 1,500 volunteers.
“AHEAD has been a great partner to work with over these many years,” said Alicia Singer, Director of Retail, Colonial Country Club. “They’re constantly coming up with fresh merchandising ideas and cool new products. This year’s T-shirts are a perfect example as they turned out great and will be a big hit with the customers.”
Singer added the merchandise tent is conveniently located on “Main Street” in the middle of the course, bordered by the 9th, 10th and 11th holes. The store is open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily beginning today through Sunday.
Recent winners of the tournament include Jordan Spieth in 2016 and Adam Scott in 2014. Spieth, Scott, Rickie Fowler, Justin Rose, Jon Rahm and Webb Simpson headline this year’s stellar field.
