‘No Laying Up’ to join the team at Walton Heath

AIG Women’s Open Radio will make its debut at Walton Heath this year, with members of the ‘No Laying Up’ podcast joining the team.

Big Randy and Cody McBride will be on-hand to bring you the action as the best players in the world make the trip for golf’s most international major.

The No Laying Up crew will join the team for the majority of the week, marking the trio’s first foray into live radio coverage of a major.

They will also be a part of the new Festival Village, and fans of the podcast will be able to see all three members on the Sessions Stage before the final groups tee off on Sunday.

Kat Downes and Iain Carter from the BBC will also be joining the coverage, as the broadcast will air on BBC Radio 5Live Extra throughout the week.

Alongside the star guests, presenters Di Stewart, Marcus Buckland and Sue Thearle will be a core part of the team, while Open Radio favourites like Matt Adams and Women’s Golf Show star Beth Allen will offer even more expert insight.

From the team that bring you The Open Radio, AIG Women’s Open Radio will be broadcast live from Walton Heath from 10-13 August, running from 7am-7pm on Thursday 10 August and Friday 11 August, and 11am to close of play over the weekend.

Steve Tebb, Head of Production, said: “We’re so excited to be bringing the AIG Women’s Open to life on radio this year, with a new dynamic broadcast, supplemented by Kat and Iain from the BBC and Tron, Randy and Cody from No Laying Up.”

You will be able to tune in via AIGWomensOpen.com, the AIG Women’s Open app, LPGA.com and BBC Radio 5 Live Extra for UK listeners.

So follow the AIG Women’s Open like never before, with AIG Women’s Open Radio.
