Dallas, TX – The All Pro Tour (APT) will be heading to Broken Arrow, Oklahoma for the final event of the 20224 season at the Eagle Ops Championship. The Eagle Ops Championship proceeds will benefit the Eagle Ops Foundation, which is dedicated to empowering veterans, their families and patriots by fostering connections through social activities, fitness and volunteerism. The field will feature over 100 of the best PGA hopefuls competing at The Club at Indian Springs – River Course.
“Our team at EAGLE OPS is thrilled about the upcoming APT Eagle OPS Championship. We’re especially excited to kick things off with the new ProAm Shootout on Monday, where our veterans will have the incredible opportunity to play alongside a local sponsor and an APT Pro,” said Johnathon Shepherd, Eagle OPS Foundation Executive Director. “But that’s just the beginning—our partnership with the APT opens up chances for our veterans and Difference Makers to be involved throughout the entire week by volunteering across the course. If you’re a golf enthusiast and passionate about supporting our military veterans, this is the perfect week to come out and join us.”
The Eagle Ops Championship will be the 11th and final event of the 2024 APT season and is scheduled for August 27-30. The week will include a 54-hole championship finishing on Friday, August 30th. The tournament purse is expected to be $130,000 with the tournament champion taking home a guaranteed minimum of $20,000.
“After canceling last year’s tournament due to the course battling winterkill, we are excited to finally return to Indian Springs! We have heard the course and the new champion bermuda greens are in great shape and ready for our 2024 tour championship. In addition to the course, the membership at the club and the city of Broken Arrow have always been very welcoming and supportive,” said Taylor Deike, All Pro Tour Tournament Manager. “ We are looking forward to the week and can’t wait to see who takes home 1st place in the tournament and our season-long points race!”
In addition, through the partnership with Access Golf, the top three (3) members at the season’s end will earn bonuses. The Access Golf Player of the Year is a season-long points race beginning at the first regular season event and concluding here at the Eagle Ops Championship, with points being awarded by the finishing position at each event. The top three (3) players will earn: 1st – $10,000 bonus, 2nd- $3,00 bonus and 3rd- $2,000 bonus.
“We are excited to welcome back the APT players, our new Bermuda greens are in great shape and we are curious if this will change the scores for the event. It will be another great week at Indian Springs Country Club,” said Mark Budler, Head Golf Professional.
