St. Augustine, FL – The National Alliance for Accessible Golf (Alliance) wants to remind organizations that funds are still available for inclusive golf programs for people with disabilities for 2018. Program grantees have up to one year from the original date of grant to use the funds and complete their inclusive program. These grants may be used to defray core program costs and support programs to help golfers with disabilities both learn and transition into playing the game.
Since 2010, the Alliance it has granted more than $860,000 to inclusive golf programs for people with disabilities. Through on-going support from the United States Golf Association, the Alliance has expanded its efforts to provide financial assistance and resources to help make the game of golf more accessible to people with disabilities.
The Alliance will continue to accept grant applications on a rolling basis until funding is exhausted. There are no specific deadlines for grant submissions and the Alliance Grants Committee will review applications on a rolling basis.
Interested local programs are encouraged to apply. View the Alliance’s webpage with all information including:
Eligibility Guidelines;
