DALLAS – Alma Mater, the footwear company using innovation to create a profound impact in the golf community, will attend the 2026 PGA Buying Summit taking place July 26-29 at the Omni PGA Frisco Resort and Spa. The appearance follows a milestone stretch for the brand, including a newly announced roster of athlete investors and continued recognition for its debut golf shoe, the Beta.
Alma Mater will meet with retail buyers and PGA of America Golf Professionals at the Summit to expand distribution of the Beta Longwing, Beta Lite and Beta Derby, the brand’s first golf shoes built on its proprietary 3PE Technology platform. Rather than adapting a shoe built for another sport, Alma Mater’s design team engineered the Beta around three integrated systems to deliver stability, cushioning and traction without the trade-offs long accepted as standard in golf footwear:

- The Gripper™ outsole
- The Zipper™ exoskeleton
The Summit comes on the heels of Alma Mater’s announcement of a diverse group of athlete investors ahead of a new fundraising round, including professional golfers and athletes from the NFL, NHL, MLB and NBA. The brand has said the group’s involvement reflects firsthand belief in the product rather than a traditional endorsement arrangement.
Since its release, the Beta has been recognized in MyGolfSpy’s Best of the PGA Merchandise Show and named to Golf Digest’s Best Men’s Golf Shoes of 2026. Alma Mater’s team will be onsite throughout the Summit.
