Support bolsters advocacy information and training for GCSAA members
Lawrence, Kan. – AMGUARD Environmental Technologies has donated $10,000 to the GCSAA Foundation, the philanthropic organization of the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America (GCSAA). AMGUARD officially presented the gift to the GCSAA Foundation on Feb. 9 during the 2022 GCSAA Conference and Trade in San Diego. The money will be used to support the government affairs program that took place during the conference and GCSAA quarterly government affairs briefings that take place throughout the year.
AMGUARD is a member of the GCSAA Foundation’s Platinum Tee Club, which recognizes supporters who donate more than $5,000 annually. AMGUARD, an American Vanguard Company, is a leading provider of proven chemistries and low-impact solutions for the professional pest control, public health, and golf, lawn care and ornamental markets.
“AMGUARD’s generous gift helps fund crucial advocacy efforts, and we thank them for that,” GCSAA CEO Rhett Evans said. “They have a deep understanding that the industry must work together to educate lawmakers, regulators and the general public on the many benefits that golf courses provide to the communities they serve.”
“Like our industry partners at the GCSAA, AMGUARD supports the golf course management professionals whose high standards drive this industry forward, every day, with their commitment to excellence,” says Shayne M.
