The 14th at TPC Deere Run is a short par 4 that has yielded 385 birdies-or better the last two years combined at the John Deere Classic. With nearly 70% of players opting to go for the green, knowing where to miss can mitigate risk. Those who go for the green and miss in the left rough still make birdie more than 42% of the time. That number is nearly cut in half for players missing in the right rough. A bogey here in the final round last year from chaser Emiliano Grillo all but wrapped up the tournament victory for J.T. Poston.
At the end of the regular season, the most consistent player across each tour, with the lowest average score under par, on the Aon Risk Reward challenge holes captures the $1 million prize.
