For the first time in Southeast Asia, a full scale golf agronomy and machinery trade show will be held on actual turf!
This will be something special because organisations will be demonstrating the working prowess of their machines, and this will be conducted via “live” demonstrations on actual turf in an outdoor setting.
This unique show-and-tell event will be staged at Sustainable Turf Farms’ 160,000 square metre facility in Hoi An, Vietnam. The show will be staged in conjunction with the 2022 Asia Pacific Golf Summit and the show date is November 3, 2022.
Sustainable Turf Farms operates two of the largest turf farms in the region – one in Vietnam and the other in Thailand and both facilities are fully certified by the International Turfgrass Genetic Assurance Program (ITGAP), a quality assurance programme that monitors production sites worldwide to ensure that the turf grown conforms to the stringent standards of the programme.
This is a one-off event that should not be missed by serious stakeholders in golf, especially golf course owners, club general managers and operations personnel.
Besides being able to see turf equipment on display, these machines will be put through their paces so that stakeholders can witness how technology is put to work on golf courses. Also, on display will be some of the newest and finest hybrid turf available for golf courses. Visitors will be able to see, touch, feel and experience these new hybrids and have all their questions answered by experienced agronomists who will be on site.
This event is open to all delegates of APGS 2022, and everyone will be treated to a delicious BBQ lunch and an on-site pub that will be serving up cold beer.
