Dallas, Texas – The All Pro Tour, a professional golf tour serving as a path to the PGA TOUR, will be heading to Marksville, Louisiana for The Paragon Casino Championship. The 4-day tournament will feature a field of PGA TOUR-bound hopefuls competing at the beautiful Tamahka Trails Golf Club.
“We are happy to return to the Paragon Casino Resort this year,” said Gary DeSerrano, President of the APT. “Tamahka Trails is one of the best courses we play all year and is a good test for the players each year. We expect a very strong field being so close to the Korn Ferry Tour’s Monday qualifying.”
The Paragon Casino Championship is scheduled for March 16-19, 2022. The week will include practice rounds and a 72-hole championship concluding on Saturday, March 19th. The purse is expected to be $130,000 with the tournament champion taking home an estimated $25,000.
“The players/spectators/volunteers can expect a great golf course in outstanding condition,” said Kevin Michael, Director of Golf at Tamahka Trails Golf Club. “They can also expect a flawless execution of the event with an experienced operating team to support the APT Tour staff. This requires extensive efforts by the entire team during the weeks leading up to and during the event. Our staff is committed to providing the best conditions possible for the event.”
Since 2019, this tournament has been unique to the Marksville area and looks forward to another year of showcasing the game of golf at a professional level.
“Tamahka Trails and Paragon Casino Resort offers the perfect venue to host the APT,” said Michael. “Everything that the players need all at one location.”
Admission is free for practice rounds and tournament-play spectatorship. To participate in the pro-am tournament, become a sponsor, or to volunteer, please contact Kevin Michael at kmichael@paragoncasinoresort.com.
