KINDER, LA, – The All Pro Tour (APT) will be coming to Kinder, Louisiana to partner with the Coushatta Casino Resort for the Coushatta Casino Championship. The Coushatta Open presented by the Coushatta Casino Resort will feature over 100 of the best PGA hopefuls competing at Koasati Pines Golf Club, the host site for the Notah Begay III Boys Jr. Golf National Championship.
“We are always thrilled to be able to extend Coushatta hospitality to these up-and-coming golf professionals. We look forward to this event each year, and at every tournament, we are constantly amazed with the skill and professionalism that these players exhibit. Best of luck to all the competitors, from the Coushatta Tribe of Louisiana.” Said Jonathan Cernek, Chairman of the Coushatta Tribe of Louisiana.
The Coushatta Open will be the second event of the 2024 APT season. The tournament will be held March 27th – 30th, 2024 at Koasati Pines at Coushatta. The week will include a 72-hole championship finishing on Saturday, March 30th. The tournament purse is expected to be $130,000 with the tournament champion taking home a guaranteed minimum of $20,000.
“Kinder is a great stop that was added to the All Pro Tour schedule for the first time ever in 2023. We were pleased to find this hidden gem that has a staff, course, and casino that did not leave us disappointed. With a course that plays at a maximum of 7,600+ yards, Koasati Pines is the longest course on our 2024 schedule and greatly challenges our players’ distance and endurance. We are excited to put our players to the test and have another great tournament in Kinder!” said Taylor Deike, All Pro Tour Tournament Manager.
