Arccos Tour Ambassador Matt Fitzpatrick Wins 2026 Valspar Championship with Final Hole Birdie

Stamford, CT — Arccos Golf, the world’s largest on-course tracking system and leader in connected AI golf products, celebrated a big win for its brand ambassador Matt Fitzpatrick at the 2026 Valspar Championship this past week. This achievement marks another milestone in an incredible stretch starting with a DP World Tour Championship title in November, a runner-up finish at THE PLAYERS Championship last week, and now a PGA TOUR victory at Innisbrook Resort. The Valspar victory vaults Fitzpatrick to #6 in the Official World Golf Rankings and reinforces his status as one of the hottest players in the world heading into the Masters.

Fueling this momentum, Fitzpatrick’s results highlight what’s possible when players enhance their performance with the most powerful data platform in golf from Arccos. As a long-time user of Arccos’ advanced AI-powered analytics, Fitzpatrick continues to prove the power of intelligent insights in enabling peak golf performance.

“The whole point of using data and analytics is to increase your probability of winning,” said Matt Fitzpatrick, Arccos Tour Ambassador and Valspar Champion. “Arccos provides me with the perfect strategy so I know exactly what shot to hit in every situation.”

With only four bogeys all week, the fewest in the field, and going bogey-free over the weekend, Fitzpatrick set himself up early to be a clear contender for the winning spot. A 30-foot birdie putt at the par-3 15th gave him the lead, and in dramatic fashion, he drained a 14-foot putt for birdie on the par-4 18th to win by one shot over David Lipsky. He finished 1st in total Strokes Gained for the week, winning with 11-under par and a final round 68 (-3).

“What Matt did this week was a masterclass in course management and tactical execution,” said Edoardo Molinari, Arccos Chief Data Strategist and Ryder Cup Vice Captain. “That birdie on 18 didn’t happen by accident. It was the result of total confidence in the numbers. That’s what Arccos data does: it gives you the clarity to commit fully when it matters most.”

“We could not be happier for Matt,” said Sal Syed, Arccos CEO and Co-Founder. “His success reflects the future of the game: players using data, insights, and AI to understand their tendencies and make smarter decisions on the course. With our AI Strategy tools, we’re empowering golfers at every level to play smarter. Matt’s victory at the Valspar Championship is a testament to what’s possible when elite preparation meets intelligent technology.”

From working on his game on the range to analyzing his Arccos data, Fitzpatrick is constantly striving for improvements, and that’s what makes him a champion.

With 1.5 billion shots tracked, 25 million rounds, and AI trained on 4 trillion data points, Arccos is trusted by champions and everyday golfers alike, including Matt Fitzpatrick, Edoardo Molinari, and Erik Anders Lang, to power smarter decision-making at the highest level.

Just days before Fitzpatrick’s win, the company launched two breakthrough products in golf tech. The new Arccos Air is a wearable device small enough to fit in your pocket, yet powerful enough to apply AI to detect and track every shot automatically without the need for sensors on clubs, a phone in your pocket, or any interruptions. The Arccos Smart Laser Rangefinder gives golfers a competitive edge, by providing pinpoint accurate “Plays Like” distances, which combine GPS, AI, and live weather data to help golfers select the right club and the right shot, no matter the conditions. Both products also come with access to AI Strategy and Green Maps for thousands of golf courses.
