Arcis Golf Partners With Online Fine Art Museum to Provide Virtual Content for its Members
The TOROSIETE Museum of Contemporary Art Celebrates Emerging Artists Worldwide
DALLAS — Continuing to deliver unrivaled programming to actively engage its membership from coast to coast, Arcis Golf has forged a unique partnership with The TOROSIETE Museum of Contemporary Art. The Virginia-based online fine-art virtual museum celebrates the best of emerging contemporary artists worldwide with a 3D interactive experience that can be enjoyed 24/7 from anywhere and on any device.
The partnership underscores Arcis Golf’s commitment to reinvent the modern club experience, including in the area of arts and entertainment. The relationship with TOROSIETE allows members to enjoy contemporary art in a real time, true-to-scale environment, up close and personal as if they were in a traditional gallery.
According to Ferdinand Ocasio Tomlin, President and Curator of TOROSIETE Museum, the gallery is creating exclusive video content, artist documentaries, and Q&As, and providing insight into the inspiration and stories behind individual paintings. More than 30 artists representing more than 10 countries will ultimately be featured.
“The partnership is a great opportunity for us and is a perfect venue to give our artists and their works exposure in front of the Arcis community,” Tomlin said. “Our experience with Arcis is super positive — we love their approach and all that they’re doing for their members.”
The first two artists featured are Cuban native Noel Suarez, the longtime resident artist aboard Oceania Cruise Lines, and Beatrix Ost, an acclaimed artist, writer, and fashion designer. Over time, Tomlin said members will enjoy exclusive access to live video interactions, live painting sessions with the featured artists, and more.
“The members will be able to develop a close relationship with our artists, which is something you can’t get in a physical museum or gallery,” Tomlin said. “Plus, with our platform, we can bring exhibitions from all over the world to our viewers. We will never replace physical galleries and museums, but we can put people ‘inside’ the exhibition to provide a more in-depth experience.”
Arcis Golf launched its relationship with the TOROSIETE Museum during a “pop-up” experiential dining event earlier this year at Ring of Honor Kitchen + Bar at Cowboys Golf Club near Dallas. The paintings of Benjamín Hierro were played on the restaurant’s television screens in sync with the mood, music and décor of the VIP event.
“This partner relationship provides our members with a complete interactive and immersive experience that celebrates the best of emerging contemporary artists worldwide,” said Blake S. Walker, Founder and CEO of Arcis Golf, which is the 2nd largest owner and operator of private, resort and daily fee golf clubs in the United States. “Now more than ever, each of us finds ourselves searching for both a greater sense of connection and community. We are proud and honored to bring forward such rich curated experiences, bespoke content and more for our members to enjoy.”
Arcis members will also have the option of purchasing original pieces of artwork, or hand-signed, limited edition fine art prints, from the featured artists.
