Arnold Palmer’s Magnificent Masterpiece
In April 2018, Oasis Golf Club in Mesquite, Nevada decided they were ready to make their golf club the best it could possibly be. Originally designed by Arnold Palmer in 1995, the 36-hole golf facility was rated among the “Top 10 You Can Play” by Golf Digest.
Oasis came to Power Tee from a member of the golf club, Doug Reed. Reed reached out to Power Tee in January after seeing a commercial on the Golf Channel. He asked what had to be done to get Power Tee at his local range. Power Tee agreed if Reed would go and speak to the President of his golf course, Kirk Lee, Power Tee would then go ahead with the installation after an agreement with Lee. Reed spoke to Lee and after a few short months, Power Tee installed in April of 2018.
Lee knew even though Oasis Golf Club was rated amongst the top 10 golf courses, he still had to set his golf club apart from all the others even more. At first he was hesitant about installing Power Tee, but then he thought about it and remembered what his ultimate job was, to make his golfers happy, and if his members were asking for Power Tee, then they would get what they were asking for.
“I feel like my job here at the Oasis Golf Club is to bring things to this area that are going to make us better than everyone else. I mean the bottom line is, I need to have our 36-hole facility better than everyone else’s, and Power Tee has set us miles apart,” Kirk said, “I recommend Power Tee to other clubs because again, we need to show our members that we are thinking about them and we are trying to provide our members with everything that’s included in a top golf facility.”
