Trendy New Hoodie, for Use On or Off the Golf Course is Adorned with Iconic Golfman logo; Elevated 2024 Ashworth Clothing Line Blends Classic Look with Performance Fabrics
La Quinta, CA – The resurgent Ashworth Golf Apparel Brand today debuted the “insanely soft & stylish” Golfman Hoodie, as part of its 2024 Spring/Fall Line that will be showcased at the PGA Show (Booth #6473), taking place January 24-26 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.
Revered by passionate players since the Company’s debut in 1987, Ashworth, the original, authentic golf apparel brand, is once again invigorating a golf apparel market led by an innovative line-up of clothing engineered with proprietary fabrics that blend high-end natural yarns with advanced performance fibers.
The new Golfman Hoodie was originally created as a gift for PGA Professionals, but the response was tremendous and prompted demand for Ashworth to offer the product for sale in golf shops nationwide. Delivering the perfect combination of cotton and polyester, with just enough stretch for comfort, and featuring the iconic Golfman logo above the kangaroo pocket, golfers of all ages are wearing the Hoodie regularly both on and off course. To complement the Golfman hoodie, Ashworth offers a full line-up of stylish hoodies, all lightweight with full performance attributes: moisture wicking, breathable, sun protection, and designed to be worn on the course and off.
Additionally, Ashworth Golf’s elevated spring/fall 24 clothing line delivers style, full range of motion and comfort all day, while blending a classic look with next generation performance fabrics. New-look polos include updated icons from the Ashworth archives including the tipped collar/sleeve original, and a strong presentation of mid-layers, including a stand-out crewneck in performance fabric that blends in some Peruvian cotton for an elevated appearance, along with a selection of quarter-zips tees, and a line-up of hoodies.
“The popularity of the Golfman Hoodie among PGA Professionals speaks volumes to the incredible fabric, super soft feel and consumer affinity for the Ashworth brand,” said Eddie Fadel, President, Ashworth Golf. “Our ability to intuitively blend a mix of fabrics, advanced performance fibers and high-end natural yarns, reinforces our commitment to elevating our classic look, while delivering a stylish line, full range of motion and comfort all day, while withstanding the rigors of the elements.”
Highlighted by Soft-Tech, Natural Soft-Tech, Pebble Tech, and Dry Release, each item is designed to feel super soft and incorporate strong performance attributes, with an elevated style and appearance that is synonymous with the design expertise of Ashworth President, and resident fabric alchemist, Eddie Fadel, who is pushing the boundaries and driving innovation. Developed with a shrewd understanding of the golfer’s movements, while tapping into the product development power of Newtimes Group’s global network, the collection features a number of prints designed from a distinct Ashworth perspective, subtle and stylish created with discerning club members in mind both on and off the golf course.
Dry Release is designed to look and feel like complete cotton, while offering classic style with moisture wicking, UV protection, and four-way stretch for easy movement. The unique blend of poly, cotton and spandex offers the ultimate in easy care, wash and wear. Soft-Tech material is a super high-performance poly product, integrating some spandex for stretch, while featuring a unique construction – the size and quality of the yarn, and the weave to create an extra soft hand. For Soft-Tech print polos, extra care is taken to maintain softness during the printing process, controlling the temperature and using higher quality dyes.
The Natural Soft-Tech collection is a blend of bamboo and cotton with a touch of spandex. Bamboo has very strong, natural performance attributes including wicking, UV protection, and anti-microbial qualities. Pebble Tech is engineered for maximum breathability with the highest level of performance. By manipulating the knitting process, with special attention to yarn weight and twist, pebbled holes are produced for air-flow in the poly/spandex blend. The resulting subtle textured appearance gives the shirt a rich and elevated look while increasing breathability and comfort.
The 2024 line also includes a classic fit golf pant, 5-Pocket Contemporary fit pant, traditional chino style shorts, and a contemporary fit Stretch Warp Short. Warp technology offers comfort all day on and off the course as this innovative performance fabric creates superb softness and comfort with natural wicking properties. Warp technology creates 4-way stretch from construction so the yarns will never break down allowing the shorts to hold shape for years.
