Carbondale, CO – Aspen Glen Club is proud to announce the completion of renovations to the fitness center and aquatics facilities at its premier membership golf, fitness and lifestyle club in Carbondale, Colorado. These projects are part of a three-phase capital improvement plan designed to transform Aspen Glen Club by elevating clubhouse amenities and the golf course experience as part of the overall portfolio of Invited Clubs, the world’s largest owner and operator of membership clubs.
The fitness center has been fully outfitted with Technogym equipment and now includes a dedicated group exercise studio for classes, a private personal training studio, and an expanded, open workout space. Within the aquatics facilities, the expansive pool was replastered and updated to provide members and guests with a resort-like experience in the Rocky Mountains.
“Our renovations to the entire property from golf to fitness, aquatics and our restaurants and lifestyle areas are creating an incredible experience and atmosphere for our members.” says Mike Fleig, General Manager. “We strive to create connections for our members in a welcoming environment with incredible amenities. This is a huge step in the process of the reimagination of Aspen Glen Club.”
Renovations to Aspen Glen began in October 2022 with all bunkers being shaped, lined, and filled with brilliant new sand. Two irrigation lakes were also drained so new lake liners could be installed. This did not impact the natural wildlife in the area, and the stocked trout in both lakes were relocated to nearby ponds. At the same time, the more up-to-date irrigation technologies were installed to reduce water consumption and ensure a more consistent playing surface. An overhaul of the short game area is currently in progress, while additional projects taking place over the next several months include the addition of four new pickleball courts, installation of two golf simulator bays, expansion of the clubhouse patio, renovation of the pro shop, and additional enhancements to the aquatics facilities, including renovation of the cabanas, new pool furniture, and a new pool bar.
Set against the backdrop of Mt. Sopris, Aspen Glen Club offers a premier experience that is only getting better as renovations continue. In addition to the Jack Nicklaus Legacy-designed golf course featuring breathtaking views of Mt. Sopris and the Roaring Fork River, amenities include tennis, pickleball, a state-of-the art fitness center, a pool and hot tub, fine dining, and an expansive clubhouse space equipped to host weddings, business meetings, and other private events. Earlier this year, Aspen Glen was recognized on Golfweek’s list of the Top 200 Residential Golf Courses in the United States.
