New industry event will bring the AGM and NGBA buyer networks together for two days of exhibits, relationship building and golf retail connections in Chicago
ROCKLIN, Calif. – The Association of Golf Merchandisers (AGM) and National Golf Buyers Association (NGBA) are joining forces for the 2027 AGM + NGBA Golf Retail Show, taking place October 11–13, 2027, at The Westin Chicago Lombard in Lombard, Illinois.
For the first time, the two organizations will bring their buyer and vendor communities together around a single joint exhibit floor, creating a focused environment designed specifically for meaningful conversations between golf retailers and the brands that serve them.
Rather than building a traditional large-scale trade show, AGM and NGBA are intentionally creating a more intimate event where vendors can spend meaningful time with buyers, strengthen existing relationships, and develop new ones without getting lost on an oversized show floor.
The event will feature two full exhibit days, giving participating vendors access to buyers from both the AGM and NGBA networks in one location.
“In 35 years, the AGM has never put on a show. We waited until we found the right partner, and the NGBA is it,” said Jennifer Morton, CEO of the Association of Golf Merchandisers. “Their show has always felt different. Vendors and buyers sit at the same table, and nobody gets lost in the crowd. That is the room we want to be in, so we are building it together. One trip, two networks, and enough time to actually talk to each other.”
“Every NGBA member is already an AGM member, so this partnership is a natural one,” said Joe Costa, Director of Operations of the National Golf Buyers Association. “The AGM brings retail education and a buyer network that reaches the top clubs and resorts in the country. Put that on our floor, with our culture, and both sides get a better show than either of us could build alone.”
The partnership brings together two established golf industry networks while maintaining the personal atmosphere that both organizations value. For vendors, the show provides an opportunity to connect with qualified golf retail buyers from across the country. For buyers, it creates an additional opportunity to discover brands, explore products and develop stronger relationships with vendor partners.
The 2027 AGM + NGBA Golf Retail Show begins Monday, October 11, with arrival, education, and networking opportunities, followed by two full exhibit days Tuesday, October 12, and Wednesday, October 13.
