The 2021 AGM Platinum Awards Recognizes 100 Premier Golf Shops Worldwide
Phoenix, AZ- The Association of Golf Merchandisers (AGM), industry leaders in retail education, announced the recipients of their AGM Platinum Awards at their annual membership meeting, held on January 25, 2021.
The AGM Platinum Awards Ceremony, held virtually this year, honors and recognizes 100 premier golf shops, including public, private, resort, and off-course golf shops worldwide. The criteria for selection for this prestigious award is based on a combination of factors that include visual displays, customer service initiatives, social media initiatives, shop renovations, promotional ideas, merchandising events, innovative use of fixtures or props, retail initiatives, staff training, and growing the game of golf at their facilities. All entries are judged by an impartial panel.
The AGM Platinum Awards combines the best of the former Golf World 100 Best Golf Shops and the AGM Front Nine Awards, honoring 35 years of history.
“Although the past year was challenging in many respects, the caliber of entries received were extraordinary,” according to Desane Blaney, Executive Director for the AGM. “Facilities found new ways to conduct business, create experiences, drive traffic and increase sales with a customer-centric approach while adhering to safety protocols.”
