City of Port St. Lucie dignitaries, trade partners and the Kolter Homes team join together for a special “1st Drive Event” to commemorate Astor Creek Country Club’s golf course and community development progress.
Mayor Shannon Martin, Councilwoman Stephanie Morgan and Councilman Anthony Bonna were among the special guests who attended a commemorative “1st Drive Event” celebrating the development progress of Astor Creek Country Club by Kolter Homes. This gated community will be the first golf course community Kolter Homes has developed from the ground up. Both the 18-hole championship golf course and new home sales plan to open in 2023.
Bob Rademacher, President of Kolter Homes, expressed gratitude to all those involved. “We’ve been dreaming about this for a few years now,” said Rademacher. “To see the community taking shape here in Port St. Lucie where Kolter built its first home 20 years ago, is exciting for us all.”
Additional guests included trade partner representatives, golf course architect Chris Wilczynski, and M.G. Orender, President of Hampton Golf and 33rd PGA President. Speaking to those gathered, Orender shared his excitement for Astor Creek’s 2023 opening when, “we can all get out here to play some golf.”
Councilwoman Stephanie Morgan hit the ceremonial 1st Drive on behalf of the city. Bob Rademacher was the first to tee off for Kolter Homes, landing “one on the green.”
Astor Creek Country Club, which neighbors Kolter Homes’ award-winning PGA Village Verano community, encompasses 682 total acres. Four contemporary home collections will be featured, with 2- to 5-bedroom floorplans ranging from approximately 2,000 a/c sq. ft. to over 5,000 a/c sq. ft.
