STAMFORD, Conn. – Golf Channel begins its extensive coverage from Augusta, Ga., with the Augusta National Women’s Amateur – the world’s premier women’s amateur golf event – and the PGA TOUR continues its swing in Texas with the Valero Texas Open in San Antonio, headlining this week’s live coverage.
AUGUSTA NATIONAL WOMEN’S AMATEUR
Seventy-two of the world’s top female amateurs will compete for the most distinguished title in women’s amateur golf, playing two rounds at Champions Retreat Golf Club in Evans, Ga., live on Golf Channel starting at 1:30 p.m. ET on Wednesday and Thursday. The top 30 players and ties will advance to the final round at Augusta National Golf Club on Saturday, airing on NBC/Peacock.
All players in the field will get to play a practice round at Augusta National on Friday, with Golf Channel providing live coverage leading into the final round with Live From the Augusta National Women’s Amateur on Friday at 1:30 p.m. ET and Saturday at 10 a.m. ET.
Spain’s Carla Bernat Escuder won the 2025 event by one stroke over amateur standout Asterisk Talley. Talley, who finished in the top 30 at the LPGA Tour’s Ford Championship last week, will tee it up again at the Augusta National Women’s Amateur this year.
The winner will earn an exemption into four 2026 women’s majors including the Chevron Championship, the U.S. Women’s Open, the AIG Women’s Open, and the Amundi Evian Championship, provided she remains an amateur.

Drive, Chip & Putt is a free, nationwide junior golf development initiative created by the Masters Tournament, the USGA and the PGA of America aimed at growing interest in golf by focusing on the three fundamental skills employed in the game.
Junior golfers from around the country will each compete in a driving, chipping and putting competition at Augusta National on Sunday, airing live on Golf Channel beginning at 8 a.m. ET.

Offering a final chance for those players not already exempt into The Masters next week, the PGA TOUR heads to TPC San Antonio for the Valero Texas Open. Notable players competing in Texas who have not yet qualified for The Masters include Rickie Fowler, Max Homa and Tony Finau. Happy Hour with Smylie presented by Michelob Ultra will take place during Friday’s tournament coverage of the Valero Texas Open.
Brian Harman won the event in 2025 by three strokes over Ryan Gerard despite shooting a 75 in the final round.

LPGA TOUR: ARAMCO CHAMPIONSHIP
This marks the inaugural playing of the Aramco Championship, which is sanctioned by both the LPGA Tour and the Ladies European Tour, at the famous Shadow Creek Golf Course in Las Vegas.
This is the second of five events on the LET’s PIF Global Series in 2026, with fan-favorite Charley Hull claiming the first title in Saudi Arabia in February. Shadow Creek previously hosted the LPGA’s T-Mobile Match Play from 2021 to 2025, with Madelene Sagstrom winning the 2025 edition.
Coming off their second straight week of finishing first and second, respectively, Hyo Joo Kim and Nelly Korda will tee-it-up again this week at Shadow Creek.
Golf Channel presents the Aramco Championship starting at 7 p.m. ET on Thursday and Friday, with a one-hour lead in window on GolfChannel.com and the USA Network app starting at 6 p.m. ET. Coverage begins at 5 p.m. ET on Golf Channel on Saturday and Sunday.
