Golf Channel will expand its PGA Tour programming by adding live, weekend coverage of 12 events to its schedule in 2009. Added to its exclusive, early round coverage on Thursdays and Fridays, Golf Channel will provide weekend, lead-in coverage for top tournaments that will air on CBS. Golf Channel also will have the option to replay weekend coverage and produce a tournament highlight show that can be televised on Mondays in prime time.
