Turf Removal Project Results In New Look At Angel Park Golf Club And The Legacy Golf Club

OB Sports Golf Management, management group for Angel Park and The Legacy golf clubs in Las Vegas, Nev., completes an ambitious turf removal project designed to limit the amount of out-of-play turf on the two courses. The project removed approximately 70 acres of turf at Angel Park alone, which translates into nearly a 28 percent reduction of turf overall at the 36-hole facility. Plus, 50 acres will be removed from The Legacy.

Golfweek Brings Home First-Place Create Award

Golfweek was recently honored with three Create Awards, including one first-place award. This year’s entries spanned across the globe, and only 235 awards were chosen out of roughly 2,400 entries. The Create Awards is produced by Create Communications, publishers of Create Magazine.

Callaway Golf Signs Nick Flanagan

Callaway Golf Co. reaches an endorsement agreement with PGA Tour member and former U.S. Amateur champion Nick Flanagan. The terms of the multi-year contract are not being disclosed.
