Unlocks a New, Tailored Way to Meaningfully Improve Golfers’ Games
(NEW YORK) – Following considerable market build-up and anticipation, the AVA Golf™ platform is now onboarding early adopters, helping golfers better understand what’s impacting their games by translating data insights into personalized instruction video playlists for meaningful improvement.
The first of its kind, AVA Golf connects the tools golfers already use – including simulators, launch monitors and on-course performance tracking – to the AVA Golf platform, leveraging the data derived to identify the patterns most affecting scoring and overall performance. Machine learning subsequently delivers three- to seven-minute instruction videos precisely matching each golfer’s unique play characteristics as his or her game evolves from tee to green.
The platform launches with a comprehensive library of content filmed specifically for AVA Golf. Featured instructors include Golf Digest “50 Best Teachers in America” Cheryl Anderson (Lake Mary, Fla.), GOLF Magazine “Top 100 Teachers in America” Mike Malizia (Jupiter, Fla.) and Jason Birnbaum (West Nyack, N.Y., instructor for four-time PGA TOUR winner Chris Gotterup), PGA TOUR Golf Academy coaches, and other renowned professionals.
“AVA Golf was built around a problem many golfers face: they have access to more data than ever but are confused and frustrated because they don’t know what the data means or how to best use it,” said JR Charles, Founder and CEO of ParOne, AVA Golf, Inc.’s parent company. “Now they have a structured, actionable plan for personalized progression that indisputably correlates to fixing flaws in their games so they can get better faster.”
The need for the type of tailored, science-based game progression AVA Golf provides is exemplified by a waitlist of thousands of golfers intrigued by the subscription platform since information about its development was released early this year.
“Most golfers don’t struggle because they lack effort,” said Aron Schüler, Director of Engineering of AVA Golf. “They struggle because they don’t always know which issues are truly costing them strokes. AVA Golf adds direction, offering mastery without guesswork by turning ambiguity into easy-to-understand and easy-to-implement clarity.”
Adds Charles: “This isn’t a simple, ‘Hey, you have a big slice’ app. Instead, AVA Golf goes deeper to share, ‘Your -4 degree out-to-in swing path is costing you 7.8 strokes per round and here are specific instruction videos to help you waste fewer shots.’”
Golfer subscriptions to AVA Golf are available here. AVA Golf currently supports data derived from Arccos and Garmin sessions, with others coming soon. Companies which collect golfers’ swing and game data may apply here to receive compensation for connecting their platform to AVA Golf.
AVA Golf is a subsidiary of ParOne, the golf technology company founded in 2020 that specializes in developing video management and distribution systems for its owned platforms and third parties.
