75th Anniversary Celebration
Richmond, VA – On the day of Bag Boy’s 75th Anniversary, the company is taking the time to honor its history and recognize the people who’ve helped shape the business over the years.
Two longtime associates, Ruth Christian and Ron Holeman, have been with Bag Boy for more than three decades and have witnessed firsthand the company’s progress and growth.
Ruth Christian, International Sales Coordinator, first began her Bag Boy career in 1982 and grew with the company through three acquisitions and two moved headquarters before Bag Boy finally settled in Richmond, Virginia, under the Dynamic Brands portfolio.
“Since my initial hiring, the company has transitioned its focus from die-cast pull carts to three and four-wheel pushcarts and has introduced several new technologies and products,” Christian said. “It’s been great to be a part of all the positive changes that have taken place over the years.”
Sales Representative Ron Holeman has been working for Bag Boy since 1983 and said he has enjoyed the people and welcoming atmosphere of the company above all.
“It’s been such a pleasure to work for Bag Boy and witness the company’s evolution over the years,” said Holeman. “The technology that we’ve introduced and the people that we’ve brought on board has made such a positive impact on the company, and I’m extremely proud to have represented Bag Boy for most of my career.”
When Holeman first began his career, he was only selling 2-wheel carts and rental carts to retailers and select country clubs. Today, he helps to sell and distribute a wide variety of products, including pushcarts, rental carts, golf bags, travel covers and accessories.
Bag Boy is honored to have had these two talented associates on their team throughout the years. The dedication, hard work and drive of Ruth Christian, Ron Holeman and the rest of the Bag Boy team is what allows the company to continue its success now and for years to come.
