Bald Head Blues Connects with its Manufacturing Partners to Provide PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) to First Responders
BALD HEAD ISLAND, NC – Bald Head Blues, a golf and island inspired apparel company, distinguished by its golf cart with surfboard logo, has dedicated its staff and their efforts to supplying the first responders with highly needed PPE.
Bald Head Blues continues to sell their Clothing for CoastingTM and six weeks ago, the company turned its attention to the crisis surrounding the world. Founder and President, Claude Pope, has spent years working with companies who help manufacture the Bald Head Blues apparel and accessory lines. Some of these manufacturers are producing supplies needed by those on the front lines – health care providers at hospitals, assisted living homes, homeless shelters, food banks, and more. He reached out to these companies to procure medical supplies.
“Our intention is to leverage our access and influence with these manufacturers for the better good. People without masks and face shields are still treating patients with the virus. It’s hard to believe! We need to protect those who are saving others,” said Pope.

“We reached out to the golf community and our golf accounts to see if they were in need of medical supplies and the response was huge, added Pope. “Employees at green grass need protection on every level, now as well as in the future, and for this reason, we opened up our PPE program to businesses.”
All medical supplies provided by Bald Head Blues are FDA and CE Certified and are intended for business use. Our lead time is two to three weeks – delivered, and all pricing includes shipping and duty.
